+ How much does a Bus cost? What about the cost of restoration?
The price of a Bus depends on many things - year, model, rarity, condition. A 1957 Standard Bus in fair original condition would cost more than a 1972 Standard Bus in excellent condition - this is due to the year and the rarity of the older, original condition of the 1957.
Restoration-wise, the price depends on the work needed. Generally, the older the Bus, the more work it needs - metalwork, bodywork, interior, etc. But... it is also possible to have a later model needing the same amount of work. Price also depends on the completeness of the car. Purchasing parts for an incomplete car can get expensive!
The price for a basic refurbishment for a later model Bus can start at as low as $5000, and can easily surpass $20,000. This would depend on the above factors, as well as what the customer wants out of his/her Bus.
We can give the most accurate estimates after inspecting the Bus, and discussing the customers wants, needs and wishes.
+ If I do not have a Bus, can you find one for me?
Yes. This is most often the case in our projects. We have several Buses at the shop at any given time, and if one of these does not meet the customers needs, we use our extensive resources to locate and purchase an appropriate *base unit* Bus.
